With a selection of refreshments and magazines, our friendly, modern and comfortable reception area is a relaxing refuge from your hectic day.

Sedation

For more complex treatments or for those who may feel anxious about treatments, we offer sedation.

As a pleasant and acceptable way of receiving dental treatment, the sedation agent is delivered through a simple injection into the back of the hand. Once you feel drowsy and sufficiently relaxed, your mouth is numbed allowing the dentist to commence.

Patients remain conscious during the entire session, without pain, and are able to communicate with the dentist. There is an absence of anxiety and patients wake up rested and relaxed. Often referred to as ‘twilight dentistry’, an illusion of sleep occurs with virtually no memory of the event or procedures.

A trip to the cinema!

To help pass the time away whilst resting in the dental chair, we have a selection of films to watch through our state-of-the-art DVD glasses.

Patients are also more than welcome to bring along their own films to watch.
